About Me

"The rhythm of the ride carried them on and on, and she knew that the horse was as eager as she, as much in love with the speed and the air and the freedom."

About Me

My name is Cameron and I am a junior in high school. I have been riding since the age of 5 and got my first horse when I was ten. It has been my dream and my intention for as long as I can remember to be a vet and although horse rescue was not neccesarily part of my plan, it is now a big part of my life. Through the sale of my bracelets, I donate money to local and national rescue agencies. I rehabilitate and re-train rescue horses as well, working to determine what 'job' pleases them most. An ex-racehorse may now love to jump, an abused elderly horse may just want to walk for miles on the trail, a horse with leg issues may make a wonderful companion horse. It is not my intention to change the world nor will I debate the politics of the issue here. It is solely my mission to help as many of these wonderful creatures as I can and through these bracelets I believe we can all be "Part of a Miracle".

I have been selling my bracelets through tack shops, galleries, horse shows and now, the web site. If you would be interested in selling my bracelets, I will be making them available wholesale. Please let me know via phone or e-mail. Thank you.

I would like to thank the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce for awarding me the 2007 Youth Citizen Award for my work in horse rescue.

My Guy...Freckles

Three years ago something happened that changed my life. This horse, an ex-ranch horse arrived on a beat up old horse trailer from Arizona. Saved from a slaughter field, he practically fell off the trailer; in fact the driver said he wasn't sure whether or not he would be alive when he opened the door. I was in the market for a new horse, although I was hoping for more of a hunter jumper type, not an emaciated, cut up ranch horse. But as chance would have it, I had the job of walking him into the barn to be checked out. It was during that short walk that I knew that this horse was mine. He was sick, he was scared and he was covered in barbed wire scars. Yet since that night three years ago ,Freckles (whose show name is Razing Arizona) and I have won ribbons together, taught each other and learned from each other. I am a different person because of him and he is a different horse because of me.  Because of him I know that there are many, many horses that still have time left to share and teach. It is my intention to help save as many of them as I can.
