"The rhythm of the ride carried them on and on, and she knew that the horse was as eager as she, as much in love with the speed and the air and the freedom."
Georges McHargue

I am attending Drexel University as a Pennoni Honors Student, majoring in Biomedical Engineering. After that I plan to attend Vet School, specializing in research. I will continue my work in horse rescue and have joined Drexel's Equestrian Team. I made a bracelet using Drexel University school colors...please check it out.
I would like to thank the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce for awarding me the Youth Citizen Award for my work in horse rescue.

My Guy...Freckles
Five years ago something happened that changed my life. This horse, an ex-ranch horse arrived on a beat -up old horse trailer from Arizona. Straight from a slaughter field, he practically fell off the trailer; in fact the driver said he wasn't sure whether or not he would be alive when he opened the door. I was in the market for a new horse, although I was hoping for more of a hunter jumper type, not an emaciated, cut up ranch horse. But as chance would have it, I had the job of walking him into the barn to be checked out. It was during that short walk that I knew that this horse was mine. He was sick, he was scared and he was covered in barbed wire scars. Yet since that night five years ago ,Freckles (whose show name is Razing Arizona) and I have won ribbons together, taught each other and learned from each other. I am a different person because of him and he is a different horse because of me. Because of him I know that there are many, many horses that still have time left to share and teach. It is my intention to help save as many of them as I can.
